Imagine an interactive map with a pin on every home that goes all out for Halloween. Skeletons on the lawn, fog machines in the driveway, giant spiders on the roof: you will be able to find them all in one place. The YMM Lights Halloween map is coming to the DiSCOVER app so families can plan the perfect spooky tour.

It will work right in your phone browser. No downloads, no sign-ups, just open the map and start exploring.

How it works

Once the feature goes live, homeowners can submit their Halloween display through the DiSCOVER app. Add your address and a quick note about your setup. Your home appears on the map for trick-or-treaters, families and Halloween fans to enjoy.

Whether you have carved a few pumpkins or built a full haunted walkway, every display makes the map better for everyone.

Past years

Halloween in Fort McMurray keeps getting bigger. Neighbourhoods like Thickwood, Timberlea and Parsons Creek have become known for their over-the-top displays. Some homes even coordinate with their neighbours to create whole themed streets.

Until now, finding these displays meant driving around and hoping for the best. The YMM Lights map will change that by putting every display on one easy-to-use map that the community builds together.
